- I've never seen someone be so hard-headed about an article. Under Film guidelines (and common sense, I would say), there needs to be two articles on Return of Godzilla and Godzilla 1985, as they are significantly different. Similar to Godzilla (1954 film) and Godzilla, King of the Monsters!. Even if you don't think there should be two, then you open a requested move request. “Citation needed” for plot is wrongly tagged
[edit]Someone added a Citation Needed for the “differences” section. This is a widespread misunderstanding and ignorance of how Wikipedia works, since obviously plots do not need citations…they’re a direct reasonable reading from the work itself. The same applies obviously to plot-like info that is similar to recounting a plot…e.g. a “differences” discussion between two versions, which is a direct obvious reasonable reading from 2 plots/artworks. Instead of removing the tag, I’m adding this discussion because it’s a widespread epidemic of ignorance and someone would probably add the tag back wrongly.~2026-42484-33 (talk) 01:39, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
