Under the "Factions and rivals" section, wherein it says "the trading of insults between Pompeians and Nucerian spectators during public ludi led to stone throwing and riot", change "riot" to "rioting". Tylerinfoboy (talk) 16:29, 16 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Adding sources?

[edit]

The entire first section lacks sources, and it makes some claims that really should be cited. And what does this sentence mean?: "Irrespective of their origin, gladiators offered spectators an example of Rome's martial ethics and, in fighting or dying well, they could inspire admiration and popular acclaim." It doesn't really state any substantial fact, and it can't be cited. Guzzler0 (talk) 06:46, 17 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
