Awards and Honours

[edit]

I have removed all but the Legion d'honneur and Order of the Crown of Italy as an award as none are backed by reliable sources. Welcome to add them back when sources are found. MilborneOne (talk) 15:04, 27 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Note

[edit]

Please do not remove fact tags without providing reliable references, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 22:11, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Note that sources have to actually mention the facts they are supporting rather than just general documents, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 08:18, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Air Pilot

[edit]

Cant see any evidence that he was a pilot he was much more likely to have been an observer but we have no evidence for that either. MilborneOne (talk) 08:18, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Funny, can't find *any* references to him being a diplomat either! The links given are basically duds. Interesting that all the talk on this page is about not being able to find any reliable sources! PitterPatter533 (talk) 20:20, 20 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

For some reason L'honorable commented on this in the deletion discussion where they made three points:

  1. . he flew airplanes;
  2. . he was spotted for aerial reconnaissance;
  3. . he still flew airplanes (for reconnaissance);

Being an aviator is not the same as a pilot as I have already said it would be logical if he was an observer rather than a pilot, he doesnt appear to have a pilot's licence and none of the reliable references refer to him as a pilot. MilborneOne (talk) 15:56, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
