The 'function' section does not make any sense at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dalekmikey (talkcontribs) 09:25, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Insulin?

[edit]

There probably should be some mention here of whether or not it uses insulin (what I came here to find out). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.43.188.206 (talk) 13:53, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

"In-Text" wikification preferred over "in-list"?

[edit]

I just added a wikilink for "brush border" in the "Function" section. I know that generally the first instance of something is the one that is wikified. But is a link that is "in-text" preferred over an "in-list" (the "Tissue Distribution" section), because it has a bit of context as to the relationship? (in this case, upregulation of GLUT2 after you eat)? Jimw338 (talk) 17:13, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
