– The names are confusingly similar in a way that the topics can't be distinguished at title. Related to Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2026_June_25#Category:People_from_Fundy_Isles. Ngrams strongly favor the Fundy Isles name for at least one of the topics. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 16:51, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

- Fundy Isles is the more common name for the Fundy Islands, so that should be the title of the article. Fundy Isles (electoral district) is okay but since it no longer exists would it be better to call it Fundy Isles (former electoral district)? HazelAB (talk) 23:12, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

- No, (electoral district) is fine. The parenthetic is for disambiguation only, and if there was another Fundy Isles electoral district, the practice is to use first the province then a year range for disambiguation instead of "former". See Carleton (New Brunswick provincial electoral district, 1834–1974), Carleton (New Brunswick provincial electoral district, 1995–2014) and Category:Former provincial electoral districts of New Brunswick. – Reidgreg (talk) 20:18, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
