In Fujuriphyes_hydra#Description, the first paragraph needs at least one citation (I assume it's the source cited in the next paragraph?). All three articles were recently moved to mainspace and are long enough for DYK. Of the three articles all have "mud dragon" and "Madagascar" in the lead, but only Fujuriphyes hydra has it cited in the body text to meet WP:DYKHOOKCITE. Rjjⁱⁱⁱ (talk) 18:10, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
  All 3 QPQs check out and 3 is the correct number for the multi-hook. The attention to detail in the beetle review is excellent. I would support running this on Halloween. The hook meets WP:DYKINT. Sometimes hooks that have more playful wording receive pushback or outright rejection at WT:DYK and WP:ERRORS, so I would suggest also including a more literal hook as a fallback, but this is not required for approval. Earth605 There are 2 minor issues with citations above. Both are marked with {{DYK?}} question mark icons. Alt1... that the Mozambique strait mud dragons F. cthulhu, F. dagon, and F. hydra (pictured) were all named in honor of Lovecraftian beings?

@Rjjiii:Here's a more prosaic alt if errors has issues with the Halloween wording. I've added the needed additional citation on F. hydra, and added in-line use of the vernacular "mud dragon" to F. cthulhu and F. dagon with Cepeda 2022 as reference.--Kevmin § 15:03, 7 October 2025 (UTC)

This is good to go. All 3 articles meet the DYK guidelines and both hooks check out. I imagine that for Halloween the preference will be for the original hook. Thanks for doing the prosaic hook as a fallback, Kevmin. Also, this set of articles should work well in a Halloween set. I'll post to WT:DYK regarding that next. 20:39, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
