There has been many changes and events regarding form 990 that should be covered in this article.

The long delays in Form 990 being released. https://www.propublica.org/article/irs-hasnt-released-nearly-half-million-nonprofit-tax-records
It seems like the public dataset is not available on Google BigQuery anymore but I might be wrong.
Updates on "The IRS may finalize the proposed regulations on or after December 9, 2019."?
