Pioneers of Krautrock?

[edit]

the band was not known for being particularly good musically, listening to them you can actually tell, they didnt master their instruments pretty much. They we're infamous for their political lyrics and harsh criticism in capitalism. Die to this fact, the media went pretty wild on them. KhlavKhalash (talk) 16:37, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Some of the comments in your post are derogatory and slanderous. Feel free to extend the accusation that a group doesn't master their instruments to all punk rock bands if you want to make a fool of yourself. Floh de Cologne's musical style has always formed a symbiotic unity with their lyrics. The "destruction" of so-called musical skills was part of their concept. And of course, there are counterexamples in the band's later development. A prime example is the song "Die Prinzessin auf der Nadel" from the Koslowsky program. Here's a link to the video on YouTube. If you claim that the keyboardist and the band didn't master their instruments there, you're deaf. Excuse me, but your post is simply disrespectful. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ6GArp6a_0 Vitti (talk) 09:50, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Deletion of my edits to the band history

[edit]

Could someone please explain why my edit (expansion) of the "Band History" paragraph was deleted? I want to enhance the entire article with the content from the German version. What's wrong with it? Thanks for your reply. Best regards, Vitti Vitti (talk) 10:03, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

I would have included the references, but I don't always have time to do everything immediately. Please be patient. Vitti (talk) 10:39, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I've expanded the story again and added references. I hope that's alright. Vitti (talk) 11:16, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
The Cabaret, Beat, Rock section needs more references, imv Atlantic306 (talk) 00:52, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have added several references. Vitti (talk) 15:58, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, i've removed the tag. Could you please add some more to the theatre section. I know it's a pain but it really helps the long term future of the article, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 23:20, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
done Vitti (talk) 14:56, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
By the way: what about the tags at the top here? Can you delete them? Vitti (talk) 14:58, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for improving the article. These aren't maintenance tags on this page just the usual talkpage information for a blp. The link to the AfD is useful as it shows the article was kept as notable, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 23:54, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I've finished revising the article. It's now largely identical to the articles on the Italian and French Wikipedias. All of them, including this one, refer to the German-language version. I think we can now remove the tag at the top of the page that prompts users to translate from the German Wikipedia. Will you do that?

Hello, there are new indications of missing references.
1. Stage shows - I don't know what to do about this. Floh de Cologne became known through these live shows and performed them in thousands of shows. What doubts are there about this, and how can I dispel them? After all, that was 50-60 years ago. I would appreciate further explanation. This section was previously included without any requests for evidence.
2. Discography - I simply converted the original list into a table for better clarity. Everything is there: title, year of release, publisher (label). What is suddenly missing? Nothing was missing from the original list. I would appreciate an explanation.
Best regards,

It is the facts in the prose of those sections that need citations not the lists. I waited before tagging in case you were going to add them, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 22:59, 26 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Discography: References added Vitti (talk) 13:45, 27 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Stage programs: References have now been added here as well. I hope this is sufficient. I am now waiting for the corresponding notices to be removed.
Best regards Vitti (talk) 14:12, 27 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for doing that, tags removed, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 23:38, 27 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
