Real inventor

This contradicts the article Stars. It might be true, but then it needs sources, since Tirion et al. claims Lalande invented the Flamsteed numbers. I'll try to find relevant sources on the web. ... said: Rursus (bork²) 10:13, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Illustrations
[edit]Neither of the charts used to illustrate this entry are from Flamsteed's atlas. They are from a later French edition and irrelevant to the article. Drop them? Skeptic2 (talk) 20:52, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- A version of the Atlas, even if later and not English, could be relevant if it showed Flamsteed numbers; but these do not, so I think dropping them is appropriate. -- Elphion (talk) 03:26, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
