In the valley below the lake, near Mittlach, there is a place called Wormsa (lieu-dit-Wormsa). This place gives the valley and the brook its name. There is a small "route forestière", called chemin de Fischboedle, which goes up the valley from Mittlach and passes below the lake. This is sometimes used by fisherman to go to the lake. There is a hiking trail from Mittlach to the lake. If you are not an experienced hiker, I recommend you hike up the trail and walk down the route forestiere (which is an easy and smooth walk).
