Difference in aid?

Is there any difference in the amount of aid if the children live on base and their parents therefore do not pay real estate taxes, or if they live off base and their parents do pay real estate taxes (or their landlord does)? Student7 (talk) 22:59, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, these children would be weighted differently under the payment formula. Students with on-base parents are given a weight of one, and students with military parents who live off base are given a weight of 0.2, so students with on base parents are "worth" five times as much aid.
