MERGING: Regarding the idea of merging this article with Medical Billing, I don't think it's a good idea. E&M Coding affects clinical documentation as much as it affects billing. Should be kept separate. It would be nice to see this fleshed out more here. Since AMA owns copyright to these code descriptions, only summaries would be appropriate here.
