Additional species?

[edit]

The National Audubon Society Guide to Fishes, rev. edition, describes a species not listed here (M. limosa, the Atlantic Hagfish) & mentions another (M. glutinosa, the Eastern Atlantic Hagfish). Are these 2 names synonyms of others listed here, or should I add the names to this list & create an article on the first? -- llywrch (talk) 00:48, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think you may be misreading the taxobox. Myxine subgenus Heptatrema is apparently synonymous with Eptatretus, but Myxine remains a recognized genus including the two species you've named. Choess (talk) 01:39, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
