Military infobox change

I think the infobox should be changed to fit the military conflict infobox.

We're not going to vandalise the article for LOLs. The infobox that used to be in the article was removed ages ago, but presumably still does the rounds on social media and the like. Nick-D (talk) 22:53, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

To be honest, the info box would be a good addition. I am not saying this for LOLs, but it would be a great way to have a quick look at how much of which died, belligerents, it is just amazing. Comment: I think crediting "Australian Army" for this event is a bit odd and misrepresentative of what actually transpired, given that it were only two people that took part in the "war". In addition, I feel including the full name and title of the commander is a bit excessive.

Change(s) requested: In the infobox, for the "Executed_by" parameter, change "Australian Army" to either "Two soldiers of the Australian Army" or "Sergeant S. McMurray and Gunner J. O'Halloran of the Australian Army". The "led by Major Gwynydd Purves Wynne-Aubrey Meredith of the Royal Australian Artillery" text should also optionally be removed at editor's discretion.
