Hello,
Disclosure: I work for Manager Steve, who professionally represents Emma Heesters. I therefore have a conflict of interest regarding this article. Rather than making substantive edits directly, I would like to ask independent editors to review the proposed updates below. I have included suggested wording and sources for ease of review.
1. Lead section
[edit]The current lead describes Heesters as being "mainly known" for performing covers on YouTube and includes a subscriber figure from August 2022. I believe this now gives disproportionate weight to an earlier phase of her career and contains a dated statistic.
Since 2019, Heesters has developed a substantial commercial recording career in the Netherlands and Flanders. The Nederlandse Top 40 currently records nine Top 40 hits and 116 total weeks in the chart. These include collaborations with Rolf Sanchez, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Tino Martin, Ronnie Flex and Bilal Wahib, as well as solo chart entries. In Flanders, she has also charted with artists including Metejoor, Regi and Maksim.
Suggested replacement wording:
Emma Heesters (born 8 January 1996) is a Dutch singer and television personality. She initially gained recognition by publishing covers on YouTube before establishing a commercial recording career in the Netherlands and Belgium. Her releases have included multiple Dutch Top 40 hits and charting collaborations with Dutch and Belgian artists.

2. Career section – 2020 onwards
[edit]The Career section currently covers 2019 and 2020 only briefly and then jumps almost directly to 2025. This leaves out a significant part of Heesters' recording career.
Suggested wording for an expanded Career section:
In the Netherlands, the Top 40 records nine hits, including "Pa Olvidarte" with Rolf Sanchez (#2, 21 weeks), "Loop Niet Weg" with Kris Kross Amsterdam and Tino Martin (#4, 16 weeks), "Waar Ga Je Heen" (#12, 15 weeks), "Alles Wat Ik Mis" with Ronnie Flex and Kris Kross Amsterdam (#7, 7 weeks), and "Contigo" with Rolf Sanchez (#10, 15 weeks).
Her career also includes chart success in Flanders. Ultratop records "Zwaartekracht" with Regi at #7 for 27 weeks and "Dat Hadden Wij Moeten Zijn" with Maksim at #7 for 26 weeks. The Nederlandse Top 40 has also documented "Rendez-Vous" with Metejoor as a #4 hit in the Flemish Ultratop 50.
In 2025, Heesters returned to the Dutch Top 40 with "Alles Wordt Beter", which peaked at number eleven and remained in the chart for 13 weeks. "Alleen Met Jou", a collaboration with Yves Berendse, also peaked at number eleven and spent 22 weeks in the chart.

3. Book – Alles wordt beter
[edit]The article currently does not mention Heesters' book Alles wordt beter. RTL/ANP reported that the book entered the Dutch Bestseller 60 at number five in November 2025.
Suggested wording:
In November 2025, Heesters published the book Alles wordt beter, which debuted at number five on the Dutch Bestseller 60.

4. The Voice Kids
[edit]The Career section currently uses future-tense wording about Heesters becoming a coach on the eleventh season of The Voice Kids. This can now be updated using the current programme information.
Suggested wording:
Heesters was announced as one of the coaches for the eleventh season of The Voice Kids, alongside Ilse DeLange, Claude and Flemming.

5. Eva interview and Televizier-Ring Impact
[edit]The Personal life section currently states that Heesters' conversation with Eva Jinek about her cancer diagnosis won the Televizier-Ring Impact Award. The public impact of the interview can be described more precisely.
The NPO reports that after Heesters discussed cervical cancer and the importance of screening on Eva in April 2025, registrations for the Dutch cervical-cancer screening programme increased significantly. The NPO states that this became known as the "Emma Heesters effect". Omroep Zeeland reports that Emma Heesters and Eva Jinek jointly received the Televizier-Ring Impact Award for the interview.
Suggested wording:
In April 2025, Heesters appeared on the talk show Eva to discuss cervical cancer and the importance of cervical-cancer screening. Following the interview, registrations for the Dutch cervical-cancer screening programme increased significantly, a development that was referred to as the "Emma Heesters effect". Later that year, Emma Heesters and Eva Jinek jointly received the Televizier-Ring Impact Award for the interview.
Because this concerns the wider public impact of a television appearance, editors may also wish to consider whether this information is better placed in the Career section, while the diagnosis and treatment information remains under Personal life.

6. Discography
[edit]The current Discography section consists almost entirely of a table of cover songs from Heesters' earlier YouTube career. It does not currently provide a conventional overview of her subsequent commercially released and charting singles.
This seems disproportionate given that the Nederlandse Top 40 now records nine Top 40 hits and 116 total weeks in the chart, while Ultratop documents additional charting releases in Flanders.
Proposed change:
I would like to request that the Discography section be restructured or supplemented with a conventional singles section based on reliable chart sources. This could include the nine Dutch Top 40 hits currently recorded by the Nederlandse Top 40, together with notable Flemish chart entries such as "Rendez-Vous", "Zwaartekracht" and "Dat Hadden Wij Moeten Zijn".
The existing cover-song table could be shortened or retained as a separate subsection only where individual covers are considered sufficiently notable. This would make the discography more representative of Heesters' overall recording career.

7. Infobox consistency
[edit]Finally, I would like to request a review of several infobox fields. The infobox currently lists Years active: 2017–present, while the lead says that Heesters began her music career in 2014. It also lists "model" as an occupation and contains a relatively long list of record labels.
Could editors please reconcile the years-active inconsistency using the strongest available source and review whether "model" remains a significant, reliably sourced occupation for inclusion? The record-label list may also benefit from a current sourcing check.
No specific replacement wording is proposed for these fields, as I would prefer independent editors to determine the appropriate values from reliable sources.
Thank you for reviewing these requests. I am happy to provide further source details if useful. Given my disclosed conflict of interest, I will leave decisions about wording, due weight, placement and inclusion to independent editors.
