Head of CommonWealth

[edit]

I was thinking now that she has passed away she is no longer the Head of the CommonWealth. Should we not date when she died/stopped being the head of the Common Wealth because now she has been preceded by her son. Fishes3 (talk) 16:02, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

The opening paragraph and the infobox make this clear.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:17, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for sorting that out. Fishes3 (talk) 16:29, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Photo

[edit]

Should we change the photo? Not sure why we're using a photo from the literal 1950s when most of the article, her prescence and fame have been decades after that Magnificentry (talk) 23:32, 22 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect info

[edit]

Article states Andrew’s birth made it the first birth to a reigning monarch since 1897. I think it should be 1857 since that is when Victoria had her youngest child. She was still reigning in 1897 but Albert had died in 1861 so no children after that ~2026-52272-28 (talk) 03:40, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

It says 1857. Celia Homeford (talk) 10:04, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

An editor has added "and Crown Dependencies" to the infobox without discussion. This should really be reverted, as not only is "Queen of the United Kingdom and Crown Dependencies and other Commonwealth realms" grammatically awkward, but it's also technically factually inaccurate and was reverted from the Charles III infobox for the same reason. ~2026-53969-02 (talk) 03:42, 6 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Done - I reverted the addition. Wikieditor20101, do you have reliable sources that support the usage of the phrase you added? I like octopusestalk to me, talk to me 04:13, 6 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
