In the United States, Eastern Standard Time is not the same as Eastern Daylight Saving Time in the summer when Daylight Saving Time is in effect. In the Eastern time zone, Standard Time means not Daylight Saving Time. This article implies that Egypt Standard Time equals Daylight Saving Time when Daylight Saving Time is in effect. Co-linear

From the lead:

As for actually answering the question, I cannot help you on the exact definition of "co-linear" (I'd look on Wiktionary for that one), but I assume it means that Egypt shares the same time as EET and CAT time zones. Hurricane Clyde 🌀^{my talk page!} 05:16, 29 August 2025 (UTC)

As a follow up, per Wiktionary, it defines co-linear as being along the same line or sharing the same central axis. Rough definition anyways. This will probably be my last comment on the matter unless someone replies back. Hurricane Clyde 🌀^{my talk page!} 05:21, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
