Glacial erosion?

Rather than simply removing it, I'll ask here first . . . where does the suggestion come from that part of the valley was glacially eroded? Other than evidence that the Punchbowl on Winsford Hill may have held a small glacier and that there may have been a small static icecap on Dartmoor at one time, there is no evidence for there having been glaciers in the southwest peninsula, hence no glacial erosion. And even if there had been that would not account for flooding in 1952! The given reference sheds no light at all on the subject. cheers Geopersona (talk) 21:13, 10 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
