Assumed Office Date

Assumed office dates for Oklahoma should be the January after the election, not the November of the election. Legislators are not sworn in until the January after their election. The 53rd Oklahoma Legislature had its organizational day on January 4, 2011 and that should be the correct assumed office date.TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 19:17, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
