with:

"Doug Leeds (born May 16, 1968) is an American business executive and co-founder of the RSL Collective, the nonprofit organization that manages the Really Simple Licensing standard for AI content licensing. He previously served as chief executive officer of IAC Publishing and Ask.com."

2. Add a new section after "IAC Publishing"

Please add the following section after the existing "IAC Publishing" section and before "Purchase of ASKfm":

Really Simple Licensing

In 2025, Leeds co-founded the RSL Collective with Eckart Walther, a co-creator of RSS. The organization manages Really Simple Licensing (RSL), an open content licensing standard designed to allow web publishers and creators to express machine-readable licensing and compensation terms for AI web crawlers. The standard builds on the robots.txt protocol and allows publishers to specify terms such as free use, attribution, subscription fees, pay-per-crawl fees, or pay-per-inference fees.^[1]^[2]^[3]

At launch, companies and publishers reported to be participating in or supporting RSL included Reddit, Yahoo, Medium, Quora, People Inc., O'Reilly Media, Ziff Davis, Internet Brands, and The Daily Beast.^[2]^[3] In November 2025, Digiday reported that Arena Group, BuzzFeed, USA Today Co. and Vox Media had also joined RSL's AI content licensing efforts.^[4]

In 2026, Leeds also co-founded RSL Media, a separate nonprofit initiative co-founded with actress Cate Blanchett, Nikki Hexum, and Eckart Walther, focused on a consent framework for AI use of name, image, likeness, voice, and creative works. RSL Media is organizationally separate from the RSL Collective.^[5]^[6]

3. Fix outdated wording in the Ask.com section

The Ask.com section currently says, "Leeds now also oversees..." Please change "now also oversees" to "also oversaw" or remove the sentence if editors consider it duplicative of the IAC Publishing section.
