'notorious courtesan'?
[edit]I'm uncomfortable with the description 'notorious courtesan' in the lead, and would like others' opinions. 'courtesan' (used in the article, categories and short description) is highly judgemental, but I suppose her life as described here supports it. However, 'notorious' is not in the article body; it comes from the Mitford Society source which describes her as the 'most notorious courtesan of 1930s society'. Is this sufficient for the Wikipedia voice to describe someone as notorious? Masato.harada (talk) 15:05, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
