[edit]

I'd like to update the uniforms to the attached file. This was drawn by myself

Sorry, I’m new to contributing. Would it be appropriate to build consensus here? The reason for the change is to more accurately capture the uniform options in line with the media guides released by the team and to display the uniforms on the current design chassis from Nike. These drawings include finer details, like the laser etched holes in the numbers. Username entered here (talk) 03:46, 29 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Lions are ONE OF FOUR teams that have never been to the superbowl. NOT the only ones.

[edit]

Just wanted to put in a correction to the Lions article here. The article states that the Detroit Lions are the ONLY team that hasn't been to the super bowl. But from my searches online, that appears to be incorrect. According to USA Today (https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2026/01/07/what-nfl-teams-never-won-super-bowl-list/88055973007/) there are FOUR teams that have never been to the Superbowl. The Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

I even checked the source that was on the article itself and IT ALSO states that those four teams have never been to the superbowl. It's not just the Lions. I'm not sure why the wiki entry is incorrect here.

The only place I see that statement is in the lead, which states They are the only franchise operational for the entirety of the Super Bowl era to not appear in the Super Bowl (emphasis mine). The other three teams you mentioned have not been in the league for the entire period that the Super Bowl has existed. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 18:57, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
