No sources that say its now "abandoned"
[edit]No sources are given that this language family is no longer valid. On the contrary according to glottolog it very much is valid and that Volta-Niger isnt Wojak6 (talk) 06:51, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Wojak6: I have changed it to "proposed", and added a recent assessment by Güldemann, who still considers it unproven. And yeah, "Volta-Niger" is much shakier; Güldemann does not even assess it, but just mentions it among the endlessly changing labels and groupings by Blench. –Austronesier (talk) 12:10, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
