[edit]I declare an interest in this page as Deering Davis is my great-uncle, though I never met him. I was only reminded of his existence by coming across the NY Times article cited in the footnotes, which in turn led me to put up the page. Alafarge (talk) 17:02, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
