Merge?
[edit]- Set up merge request. Reason: unnecessarily cumbersome to have a separate article for an obsolete taxonomic rank. Information should go into Danainae = Milkweed butterfly, and Danaidae should redirect there as is WP ToL SOP. Dysmorodrepanis 14:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed - will do so now, as simply as possible Dyanega 22:22, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps we should restrict Milkweed butterfly to just the single genus Danaus Kluk, 1802. This common name does not go well with the rest of the subfamily Danainae.--Wloveral (talk) 18:29, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
