Footnotes or References
[edit]most pages on Wikipedia have them called "References", While "Notes" are used for clarifications, (such as this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman#Notes and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman#References) so wouldn't it be better to make it like most other pages? ~2026-17204-51 (talk) 05:12, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
"Public image" section requires attention
[edit]This section cites no sources and contains language that seems ad hominem – especially without sources. There are also instances of poor syntax in the writing. The whole paragraph seems like a rush job in an attempt to take a few shots at the man.
I'm no fan of Dan Quayle, but cheap shots are cheap shots. ~2026-17512-63 (talk) 15:03, 20 March 2026 (UTC)

Image Change should be reverted
[edit]I think the portrait change for him should be reverted. It’s not the best quality, and this image is much more well recognized than the current one. BigBraelinn (talk) 21:05, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- The other image is the most recent portrait of Quayle, therefore that one should be used. This one was taken in 1990. The other portrait was taken in 1989. NicholasGian25 (talk) 02:00, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
State senator not US senator
[edit]Lead paragraph is wrong, links to US Senate article ~2026-43355-53 (talk) 14:55, 6 August 2026 (UTC)
- Quayle was a US senator, not a state senator. CAVincent (talk) 04:46, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
