Do some simple math, boneheads - not only was D. not 27 when he died, he was almost 29 (would have turned 29 on April 1, 1986). nice try though.

Also, the note that "Corona" is the "Jackass" theme so obviously belongs on the Minutemen page and/or the Double Nickels page (if it exists) that you should get a swift kick for even suggesting it here. Wikipedia is too saturated with useless pop culture trivia as it is. get a freaking life (says the guy editing a talk page no one will ever read). R0m23 18:24, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Has no one here seen a minutemen record? The article should be titled 'd._boon' these days; we've got case control.

-- A Wikipedia article is not a Minutemen record. I don't see any support anywhere else for the idea that he always styled it like that. Minutemen records generally had all lyrics, notes, etc. in lower case, not just his name.JohnMason (talk) 23:51, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

Influence

None of those examples makes sense chronologically. Minutemen certainly were and are influential, but not on these bands/musicians.JohnMason (talk) 23:08, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

Place of death

There is no town, city, or even census designated place called "Centennial, Arizona," so I am not sure what place is being referred to here. There's a "Centennial Park, AZ" but it's nowhere near I-10. It's up by the northern border. Most other sources have him being declared dead in Tucson, but that doesn't make sense if the wreck was near the California border west of Phoenix.
