Move to Crotalus ravus?

[edit]

Genetic studies suggest this species is part of the Crotalus triseriatus complex, and it is listed as Crotalus ravus by both the IUCN and the Mexican Government's convention on endangered species, NOM-059-SEMARNAT-2010. Oceanchaos (talk) 23:34, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

This species should definitely be moved to Crotalus ravus. Multiple phylogenetic studies since at least 2002 have shown this species to be nested in Crotalus, not with other Sistrurus Caissaca (talk) 16:28, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
