The Church

The national Churches trust says this of St Nicholas Church "what makes it both unique and mysterious is its two storey sanctuary.". https://www.nationalchurchestrust.org/church/st-nicholas-compton Strange that the article mentions the church clock (no significance at all) but does not mention the key feature of the church.
