in text errors on page

[edit]

Look like the last update broke the text, can someone fix it?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.126.51.51 (talk) 16:20, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

WP:BLP concerns

[edit]

Hi, I worked pretty extensively on this page. Due to the 2015 CMAs I made a call to remove a few of the citations due to concern about Biographies of living persons. I added the cites and then now he's blowing up removed them. So his date of birth is verified, but it didn't seem necessary to have the links on there. Just wanted to mention this. -- Erika aka BrillLyle (talk) 04:55, 5 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fix grammar

[edit]

Can someone change the last sentence of the first paragraph of the article. It shouldn't say "won" twice in the same sentence. It says, "Stapleton won the 2015 Country Music Association Award for Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year, and Traveller won Album of the Year." Please change it to, "Stapleton won the 2015 Country Music Association Award for Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year for Traveller. Rowssusan (talk) 03:46, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Done. Didn't it take longer to write this up than make the edit yourself? Don't mean to be rude or anything but it sort of made me laugh... -- Erika aka BrillLyle (talk) 15:18, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. And I couldn't make the edit myself because the article has a lock on it and I'm new. Rowssusan (talk) 23:07, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Rowssusan: Apologies, I should've realized that as your user name is red. My bad. Let me know if you need any help, etc.... Best, Erika aka BrillLyle (talk) 00:23, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! Rowssusan (talk) 01:11, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Photo needed!

[edit]

This really needs a photo. It will be #6 on the next WP:TOP25 and is clearly a popular article.--Milowenthasspoken 16:40, 9 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

signing

[edit]

Who is signed to is notable, but should not be the second fact of the article, in the lede. its promoting his record contract. the contract is secondary to his music, very secondary.2602:304:CFD0:6350:44F3:CEE9:A1B6:E2FC (talk) 19:41, 17 January 2016 (UTC)(mercurywoodrose)Reply

Missing wife's name, Andrea Bocelli

[edit]

1. The article should include a mention of his duet: The song "Il Mare Calmo della Sera" by Andrea Bocelli featuring Chris Stapleton appears on Bocelli's album Duets. The song is 4:35 long.

2. In the second paragraph after the Introduction, it talks about his wife, singer / songwriter ... but does not give her name. Kmeintjes (talk) 12:53, 10 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
