I would like to propose a link to All Things Pennsylvania Family Law be added to the External Links section.

Other custody issues

[edit]

This article only refers to custody arrangements involving parents. Should there not be a section on custody be obtained by grandparents/siblings/foster care/Etc.?

About Canada?

[edit]

Child custody laws in Canada. I think this needs to be written.

U.S. historical content

[edit]

The history of child support in the United States should be moved to Child custody laws in the United States.2601:401:503:62B0:E435:88A7:BEDF:74F9 (talk) 15:57, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I agree, this article currently has almost no coverage of the topic outside law and practice in the United States of America and is therefore very unbalanced. I have added an appropriate template to the article. MPS1992 (talk) 15:31, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi editors,

I’m suggesting a new external link for consideration in the “External links” section of the article. I’m affiliated with US Health Testing and therefore won’t make the edit myself.

Suggested link: https://www.ushealthtesting.com/court-ordered-drug-test/child-custody

Description: An informational page outlining how child custody cases may require court-ordered drug testing, including testing types, procedures, and legal standards. 103.226.186.255 (talk) 10:57, 30 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Beyond the poor fit with WP:ELYES, see WP:ELNO, notably including the admonition against "Sites that are only indirectly related to the article's subject:" and "Individual web pages that primarily exist to sell products or services, or to web pages with objectionable amounts of advertising".
