Apparently Chappaquiddick as a whole or the Dike bridge/Poucha pond specifically are referred to by locals as "Ted's car wash" since the incident, and I've found mentions of the name in some sources, should it be included in the article? --jonas (talk) 01:59, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

i am a new Wikipedia user so not sure how to proceed, but when reading the article the paragraph at the end of Kennedy Televised statement seems a little off as the checkers speech is viewed positively and the other reference for the immediate and negative feedback is an article from 25 years later I believe, this may need some brushing up!
