Here are some additions I think could be made to improve this page:

1. Expand the definition to include the different ways that this change can appear as/examples of it

2. Reference to major innovators in the subject -- it talks about Labov already, but does not talk about what he has contributed to the subject

3. Reference the role gender plays in conscious vs unconscious change Possible sources to look into include:
