Ketika Cinta Bertasbih 1 and 2 are films directed by Chaerul Umam and released in 2009, based on best-selling books in Indonesia authored by Habiburahman El Shirazy. Both are the first films officially labelled 'halal' (permissible according to Islamic law) by the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (Indonesian Islamic Clerics Association), and Ketika Cinta Bertasbih 1 is the first Indonesian film made in Egypt.

Overall: I reviewed Umam's article and just about everything looks fine (I wasn't finding where ALT1 is in the article, but it doesn't look like we're going to go with that hook anyway). • Thanks muchly. ALT1 was the mention of Rendra as leader of Bengkel Theatre and later as star of Al Kautsar (same person, he went by a mononym or by WS Rendra). But that's moot now since ALT0 will be a double nom and honestly is more hooky. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 17:05, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
