Any info about the history?

Yes, opened in 1892: but that doesn't prevent the original buildings from being replaced by more modern structures at any time. The problem is finding a source which says something like

• "The station was built with the expectation of x passengers a day, so the ticket office had only one window and the waiting room was quite small, with only one bench seat for four people. However, traffic developed greatly, particularly after electrification in the 1920s, and so it became necessary to substantially increase the facilities. A new ticket office with three ticket windows, and a waiting room four times the size of the original and having seats for 20, were brought into use in 1933.";
• "The original buildings were on inadequate foundations, and as the ground settled, cracks developed which threatened the structure of the buildings. In the 1930s it became necessary to demolish them on safety grounds, new buildings on more substantial foundations were then built."; or
• "The original buildings were of wood and only intended to be temporary, but it was not until 1925 that they were replaced by permanent brick-built structures".

Note: the above three bullets are examples of what to look for in published materials, and are simply guesses (the real ticket office, for example, is a 1970s CLASP job), do not copy any of them to the article. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:01, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
