Camp Sam Hatcher was bought by Camp Albemarle, a Newport, NC based church camp, in March 2023. It still exists, just as "Albemarle in the Pines", not Sam Hatcher. I'm not sure if this article should be edited to be a history of the old camp or deleted in entirety.
