Moving page
[edit]The current page name, LECT1, is an outdated gene symbol. The current gene symbol is "CNMD". The uniprot recommended protein name is "Leukocyte cell-derived chemotaxin 1", which is a bit too long, however the HGNC approved name, "Chondromodulin", seems quite good, and it's listed as an alternative protein name by uniprot (and gets ~10x as many hits as the uniprot recommended name), so I think I'll try to move it there. - Unfortunately it looks like Chondromodulin was an old page that got merged into this page, so I can't overwrite it without requesting a move. Instead I'll just try to move the page to the gene symbol: "CNMD" Pabnau (talk) 04:13, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
