The population figure of 600 may have been sourced from here: Burton Waters does have a "built up area" designation but because the population figure is below 500 according to this ONS source, (type "Burton Waters" in search box) it doesn't get reported on citypopulation.de because that website doesn't report figures less than 500. Not sure what to do so would welcome advice. The choices seem to be stick with the 600 figure and put in a citation to Streetmap; put in 460 and cite to ONS or omit a population figure altogether. Given the rather strange shape of the ONS area, my own view is the 600 figure is the more accurate, however because of uncertainty over the reliability of both figures, I think it preferable on balance to not show a population figure for Burton Waters. Pinging @PamD, who placed the citation needed tag and @DragonofBatley who I believe put the 600 figure in the article. Rupples (talk) 12:27, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
