Divide, or add substance

[edit]

The accompanying article is not a Dab, and should not be changed into one. But it is not a legitimate article, bcz as it stands it is not about a single topic:

  • If it were about the topic "bullfinch", which it delineates as covering both the Old- and New-World groups, it would have to at least list "[the latter's] superficial resemblances" to the true or Old-World ones; IM-avio-ignorant-O it should also clarify for us dummies the sense in which they are superficial, e.g. contrasting independent parallel evolution of homologous phenotypic features with the same function against overlooked differences in function, form, embryology and/or degree of utility.
  • It could instead be split into New World bullfinch and either Old World bullfinch (with Bullfinch becoming a Dab) or Bullfinch (with a Hatnote Dab). (IMO that resolution would appropriately be considered a pair of SIAs.)
