[edit]General Notes -
-Not super important, but when you talk about Zaire, put in parenthesis that its now the DRC for reader clarity
-"major community program in the area" - Maybe here, you can include some examples of their programming (if you can't find any in LA in particular, maybe there's something about what they generally did throughout the country)
-For the second paragraph of Griffin's influence, maybe again you can find some examples of how in particular they supported the black-owned businesses/educate the youth?
-For the "Sentinel Writing" section, before the first article, maybe write a little about how Griffin came to work at the sentinel
-The "Moon Dust and Black Disgust" subsection has good content, but a little repetitive on the writing - not necessarily a bad thing, just something to look out for
-The "Opinion on Chicanos" section should also have a brief introduction before just getting straight into his views
Content: Life section's content seems promising once it will be completed. The same is true of the Osmond Brothers subsection and Opinions on Chicanos section. The quotes in the Chicanos section are particularly good, and I think are very crucial to when you start writing about Griffin's opinion on them. I would also add some sort of a conclusion, something like where is the NIEU now, or any modern references to Griffin (ex, maybe you can write a little as to why he was mentioned in your book, using the section name "Contemporary references")
Organization: Needs an introduction, but other than what I already said, it is laid out very clearly.
Sources: Needs a second scholarly source if you can find it. Perhaps find another source which mentions Griffin at all, and make a different section as to why he was mentioned in that way. I found a mention of him in this book: https://books.google.com/books?hl=en&lr=&id=rpBDCgAAQBAJ&oi=fnd&pg=PA189&dq=Booker+Griffin+Jr.&ots=3nqcDRadsZ&sig=cVPfhoockUOwHUO4I92l4SCJc4I#v=onepage&q=Booker%20Griffin&f=false
Maybe you can find this book in the library, and in your article use this book as a source.
I also saw him mentioned in this source: https://www.jstor.org/stable/40642389?casa_token=RS0jKHBsPKQAAAAA%3AzJ-NXTlSwjWrgnXwfb-2dhwWeWubFSkdGKvzVaTJ6GQ4dwbCX69StmvkDjapavQ_-2jdmSs-paNJJD4vc8vtUoEgqKZutE7-BN0Ax3hkMn3o9TmcOw&seq=1
I would recommend, when you're searching, look up "Booker Griffin" (without the Jr., many people leave it out), and use quotes around his name so that when google searches it it'll only find results with the words "Booker Griffin" together and not separately (this works in Google Scholar too!)
Overall, extremely promising article and I hope to find out more about this man.

[edit]I think the main thing I’d suggest for moving forward in terms of edits would be reformatting your information to be more in the style of wikipedia. A couple of your sections are more bulleted lists of information, which is strong info on him but would just have to be converted into paragraph style like your NIEU and Moon Dust sections. I also think adding a brief summary/lead paragraph at the beginning would be beneficial before jumping into the life section. Generally I think going back in and adding more citations since a lot of this references your sources would be a good idea. I love the picture you included, I think it’s a great photo to summarize him. I think you’ve got a lot of good information here the structure just needs some finishing/reworking the tone to be more formal your next run through it, and adding a few more sources to help flesh it out. [edit]Hard to meaningfully assess an article when it is still so incomplete. A considerably more complete draft was expected.
