Information is duplicated, sometimes out of context, and references are missing. The very early work of Boyle on bioluminescence in decaying fish and the photophores of insects, while not of great scientific importance when taken by itself, is critically important in the history of the chemistry of air and of respiration. 2600:1700:6AE5:2510:0:0:0:24 (talk) 02:29, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your view. The article is however fully cited (you mistakenly added your incomplete source to the lead, which summarizes cited text in the article body), and I don't see any duplication: the lead of course partially repeats what is in the body. Boyle's work, including fish, was already mentioned, too, and cited to Harvey, which was indirect but sufficient. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:31, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
