It is true that Berti is barely mentioned in mainstream media. I think she may be notable as a woman in the security apparatus at NATO, as a Jewish scholar in Arab studies, and as an (unusually?) prolific author on high profile current issues, such as Islamic non-state actors and European security. While I know that the number of publications does not make a scholar necessarily noteworthy, I've included a bibliography to show the range of peer reviewed and other academic publications that have included her. She is one of the leading experts (at the global level) on security and NATO issues. She has a senior role in one of the world's most influential organisations. She has more than 1.5K citations (enough to make 95% of her colleagues envious). Of course she meets the notability guidelines for academics, for heaven's sake!
