This page states: "In 1884 Haynes was appointed organist at the then new St Philip Neri Church in Upper Sydenham." and there is a link to the Catholic church of Our Lady and St Philip Neri. However this church is in Lower (not Upper) Sydenham (also known as Bell Green). In Upper Sydenham, at the junction of Taylors Lane and Wells Park Road, is the CofE church of St Philip the Apostle (consecrated 1867).
