Not based on M23, and even so it isn't an "assault rifle"

Ak 24 isn't based on the M23, that is the FDF designation for the 7.62 NATO sniper/DMR version of the Sako ARG 50. Ak 24 is based on the 5.56 NATO ARG 40. I'd fix it myself but I'll just break the link or something. 80.220.97.164 (talk) 20:48, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not quite: to be precise, the 'Automatkarbin 24' is the Swedish designation for the Sako ARG 40 assault rifle, which belongs to the Sako M23 family.
