Nipissing

He was not born Nipissing. He was a Nipissing captive for a while as a young man. Turtle-at-Home told that lie about his father during a very difficult time politically for the Nation. While my heart is with Turtle-at-Home's cause, he had no right to lie. And if you can't provide some "documentation" to contradict this, by your own standards, shouldn't you remove this claim, or at the very least, elaborate on it?108.88.185.32 (talk) 21:10, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Frank from Broomtown

Not colonial

Colonial implies at some level being under the power of a foriegn authorit. Attakullakulla never recognied auhority beyond the Cherokees. He should not be classed as colonial.John Pack Lambert (talk) 22:52, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Adopted Cherokee?

Is there a source stating he was a Nipissing who was adopted by Cherokees? The Tennessee Encyclopedia of History and Culture states he was probably born in the French Broad Valley . Bms4880 (talk) 19:46, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
