The root may be of Greek origin: Aster > asteria (stars), asterisk, asterism, asterismal, asteroid, asteroidal, astral, asterognosis are some of the Greek words that exist as derivatives of the original, Aster ~ Star.124.177.136.58 (talk) 10:35, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
