I have collected wast data about the Chiranjeevins. But i am unable to get any clear image about Ashvatthama's wife and heir(kid). A few things I noticed on first appearance.
[edit]Dear All, Good evening! Eventhogh from India, I am not really well versed with Mahabharatha. But if I remember correctly, Aswatthatma is the most correct spelling in English I can find. Also, Krishna is supposed to be an Avatar of MahaVishnu, who had a tendency to tell lies or to get things done in a crooked way. It is depicted easily in the story of Samudra Manthan. So it may not have been a curse, and since he was on Pandava's side, a blessing to the Kaurava's side has to be done discretely. Also the the term Atma(As I know) in his name should make him live happily forever. I feel bad to put it here, and also being a Hindu converted to Christianity, I always used to feel that Kaurava's were on the right side than Pandava's. And by death, as far as I know gives you chance to reach Moksha. Thnaks and Best regards, George A P, Kochi, Kerala, india, 19, March, 2023. Geogap (talk) 14:47, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
Missing sources
[edit]@Seyamar, the bibliographic information for the sources Fitzegarld (1975) [#1 and #9 in the reference list] and Williams (1872) [#3] is missing from the Bibliography. I think that you added these references – could you add the source details too? Many thanks, Wham2001 (talk) 07:52, 5 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Wham2001 For:
- Fitzgerald (1975); it was a date error (inst of 1975, it is 2004); fixed
- Williams (1872): added in bibliography

- That was super-quick – thank-you!
