Anime is not a word borrowed from English

About the Trailer Used in the Lead Section
[edit]Is there any particular reason why is the trailer of "Heroines Run The Show" used as the lead-section example of this "Anime" article? I think "Shirobako" is more representative as it is the Anime about Anime-making industry itself. ~2025-37558-54 (talk) 13:48, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- The trailer is CC-BY so that's probably why. I don't think it's representative of the whole topic altogether to be honest, so you could probably make a case to at least move it further down. Opecuted (talk) 12:16, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

trailer used on quick facts

- It also makes no sense to use the trailer of a not-particularly-known show from a not-particularly-emblematic studio as the "main" and first "picture" people see when they land on this page. Genuinely, whose idea was this? Rosoviakosmos (talk) 01:01, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- We use this trailer because it is a freely-licensed trailer that illustrates the subject. Most trailers are not freely-licensed, and while non-free content is permitted in limited cases where there is no free substitute, in this case we have something freely licensed that is sufficient. - @Link20XX I was able to get the help of a more experienced wditor to fix the issues with the size on mobile, now it's at least less cumbersome. Thanks for your explanation Rosoviakosmos (talk) 01:28, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
