Pagan Angels

In relation to Hypsistarians this line of thinking is erroneous, angels (Gk Aggelos = messenger) are also concept in ancient Hellenic Polytheism. The Angels of the Hypsistarians are the traditional Gods of Hellenic Mythology, as shown by the inscription at Claros. Reference; Pagan Monotheism in late antiquity.
