Anbox

[edit]

anbox is better than waydroid 65.18.127.206 (talk) 04:37, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

this article reads like an advertisement for Anbox Cloud

[edit]

I'm adding a

template on this article's Anbox Cloud sections. If anyone's opposed, please let me know here. Onkoe (talk) 18:09, 3 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Onkoe I can rewrite that part and try to make it less "promotional". You'll tell me what you think ;) Creativeosmose (talk) 15:25, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Onkoe should be more "neutral" now I believe. Creativeosmose (talk) 15:47, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks - this looks much better! However, I'd still prefer to keep the promotional template for now. In my view, there's a lack of published, reliable, "encyclopedic" sources covering Anbox Cloud, so it's hard to write about it without referencing Canonical marketing materials and documentation.
If you find any secondary sources that better describe the real-world reception, usage, and availability of Anbox Cloud, please let me know! :D Onkoe (talk) 21:49, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@OnkoeI found this source on Anbox Cloud being used by Vodafone. Seems pretty relevant. What do you think?

@OnkoeShould I include it somehow in the page? Creativeosmose (talk) 13:08, 16 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Onkoe hey, not sure if you saw the previous message. Is the above vodafone.com link ok for you? (if so, I can add it and remove the "promotional language" banner.) Creativeosmose (talk) 12:46, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Creativeosmose Hi! You might try a secondary source covering their press release; please see: Wikipedia:No original research Onkoe (talk) 12:51, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't it say "Anbox was" instead of "is"?

[edit]

Hi, the article opens saying "Anbox is...", should I change this to "Anbox was"?

Kind regards! riveravaldez (talk) 01:20, 13 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
